Join our camping in the Baltics!
Innovation Camps are a practical way to engage, share regional best practices, knowledge and grow networks. It’s a perfect occasion for getting inspired and meeting experts, city practitioners, and regional representatives in charge of RIS3.
Our Innovation Camps
Camps are at the heart of Smart-Up BSR activities, organized in different locations of the Baltic Sea region. They foster bottom-up and needs-driven innovation in regions, providing opportunity for co-creation, experimenting and building trans-regional network for more effecive RIS3 implementation in the Baltic Sea Region.
During Smart-Up Innovation Camps participants work around challenges put forward by challenges owners in BSR: cities, regions, universities, NGOs and businesses. Innovated solutions are about promoting regional smart specialisation, and implementing pilots related to healthy ageing, climate change, circular economy and smart city. In the camps participants get advised by experts from the Committee of the Regions and EU Joint Research Centre, they learn about local best practices and get inspiration from visiting local initiatives.
